GET YOUR COAT…YOU’VE PULLED

So after quite the hiatus,I’m back with a vengeance and an even greater lust for niceties.
After the best summer in my living memory, that old so familiar bite in the air has returned. Hello my old not so good friend! Which means my thoughts have turned to keeping snug & therefore to coats. The most used garments known to man or more importantly woman. A good coat is like a best pal, there for you whatever the weather. A bad coat can linger long in the memory & in a selection of family snaps (I’m talking to you oh-so-popular at the time burgundy padded jacket…..for shame).
So after a frustrating, hair pulling out search for perfection, I have settled on a number from Nishe. I’m experimenting with green you see, it’s my choice for Winter & I’m hopeful that it will not make me resemble a giant Kermit. Although, I would consider that quite cute & to be a win!
I’m particularly lovin’ the Mango military coat below modeled below by the sickeningly stunning Miranda kerr. What a minx! I think I need that one in my life too….damn you marketing whizzes!

VALENTINE’S OUTFITS!
EEk it’s nearly that time of year again…when couples up their lovey dovieness, casanova wannabes get more creepy & singletons the world over collectively groan. Whether you love or hate the 14th of Feb, there’s no escaping the giant fluffy teddy bears & heart-shaped balloons that fill the shops.
Whether you have a smoking hot date to find the perfect Valentine’s outfit for or you just want to dress up for the day, there’s lots out there to suit everyone. While, it may be extremely obvious- the red dress is still a winner & a personal fave for me any time of year. Maybe just stay away from tops with ‘Love’ & ‘Amour’ splashed across them..you could stray into tacky or have your date running for the hills!:D
If you’re a jeans & top kinda gal, stick with it- just change it up with some extra accessories or try out a new hairstyle to add something fresh to the mix.
Even try some fab new lipstick, it’s the easiest way to add a bit of spice!
Even though I’ll be staying in..I’ll still be dressing up!

Well, who’d a thunk it? The humble dungarees are having their moment in the fashion sun. Long the practical preserve of toddlers and suspect painters the world over, it seems they’re now strutting down catwalks & a 2013 ‘must-have’ wardrobe staple.

I want to dress like a Disney princess- to cheer me up from this horrid flu!! Well, okay, a Cinderella ball gown & tiara may be a stretch too far- If I only I was eight again, then I could get away with it! These days I’d quite probably be locked up!;)
Still, at least Disney Couture has some magical jewellery to unleash my inner princess with & there’s some adorable Disney inspired clothing knocking about too. Perfect…Now if only I could find a prince! Back to kissing frogs!Eww Gross!;P

Ever since Ms Alexa Chung stepped out in her super cute J.W Anderson for Topshop bat jumper I’ve had a craving for all things knitted! It’s perfect timing too as I need to wrap up now the temperature has blooming plummeted (that reminds me I must begin my quest for a new winter coat!).

Finally returned from my mini holiday & ready for a new post! London was as amazing as ever, especially with the Olympics (I miss all the excitement:(……. I was lucky enough to see some boxing in the extremely impressive ExCel Arena & a bit of football in Wembley plus my mug got shown on TV before I swiftly put my flag over my face!Haha!
I picked up some really cute things too:
- My grey Harrods bag with the bow
- My heart print bag from Camden Lock also with a bow (it’s a theme!)
- Red lace Dahlia dress with heart buttons
- Cute mustache jumper from Camden Lock
I got at super adorable sailor style dress from a Korean label in Camden too- I’m sure I’ll stick that up here too. Can’t wait to wear my new stuff…although people already think I have a serious addiction to handbags,oops!!

Why I love them? They’re perfect for trudging through the mean streets of Dublin when it’ s bucketing- Converse not so much..Plus they’re perfect for rocking a day-time grunge look & much comfier than 6 inch heels- result! You even get to feel a little bit rebellious as you lace them up- just a tad!
They don’t have to be plain old black anymore either- there’s a style for everyone, even the most girliest of girls!;D

LOVELY LEGGINGS!

The sartorial world has gone loopy for leggings it would seem. First came the obsession with galaxy styles, then all sorts of animals,stunning stain glass windows & now we’ve got ombre leggings of every colour of the rainbow.
Leggings are toughies though, they can go wrong in oh so many ways. I prefer to go with a longer top for a more flattering look & don’t forget to wear the correct underwear people!;P

Ooh I love a good stud so I do….on everything if at all possible- including on my lip!;P I literally like all things studded- maybe it’s the texture, particularly when mixed with denim or leather. It just gives that extra edge to everything..& I for one love it! Maybe it’s the inner rock chick screaming to unleash herself on the sartorial world!
